How to Score
How your fantasy roster earns points each round
How to Play
The complete Marvel Rivals Fantasy rulebook
Captain
For each round, managers must nominate one player as their Captain.
The Captain scores double fantasy points for that round.
Once a round has locked, the Captain selection cannot be changed.
There is no Vice-Captain feature in Marvel Rivals Fantasy.
If your Captain does not participate in any matches during the round, no replacement Captain will be assigned and no double points bonus will apply.
Team Management & Substitutions
Before each round lockout, managers may freely adjust their starting lineup and bench players, provided their lineup remains valid.
A valid locked lineup must always contain:
2 Vanguard
2 Duelist
2 Strategist
Bench players do not score fantasy points.
Once a round has locked, no substitutions may be made until the next round.
Live substitutions during a round are not permitted.
Transfers
Managers receive a limited number of free transfers between rounds.

Unused free transfers may be carried forward to future rounds.
Managers may never hold more than 3 free transfers at any time.
Managers may make additional transfers beyond their free transfer allocation. Each transfer made above the available free transfer limit will incur a deduction of 5 fantasy points (-5).
Once a transfer is confirmed, it cannot be reversed.
Team Selection Restrictions
Managers may select a maximum of two (2) players from the same professional team at any time.
This restriction applies to both starting players and bench players.
Managers must maintain a legal squad after every transfer.
Scoring System
Players earn fantasy points based on their real-world performances during Marvel Rivals tournament matches.
For a complete breakdown of all scoring categories and point values, see .
Eliminated Players
Players whose teams have been eliminated from the tournament may remain in a manager's squad.
However, eliminated players will no longer participate in matches and will therefore score zero fantasy points for the remainder of the tournament.
Managers may transfer eliminated players out of their squad subject to the transfer rules.
Boosters
Marvel Rivals Fantasy does not currently include any boosters, chips, wildcards, bench boosts, free hits, or similar gameplay mechanics.
All managers compete under the same transfer and squad management rules throughout the tournament.
Round Lockouts
Marvel Rivals Fantasy uses a fixed round lockout system.
Each round has a designated lock time, which is displayed in the tournament schedule.
Once a round reaches its lock time:
Your entire squad becomes locked for that round.
Your starting lineup becomes locked.
Your bench becomes locked.
Your Captain selection becomes locked.
No substitutions may be made.
No transfers may be made.
No lineup changes may be made.
Transfers and lineup changes will become available again once the prior round has started and the next transfer window opens.
Managers are responsible for ensuring their squad, lineup and Captain selections are final before the applicable lockout deadline.
Any changes attempted after a round has locked will not apply until the next available round.
Player Prices
Each player is assigned a price before the start of the tournament based on factors such as team strength, recent performance, expected fantasy output, and projected tournament success.
Managers must build their squad within the allocated Team Budget of $100 million.
Player prices are fixed for the entire tournament.
Unlike some fantasy games, player prices will not increase or decrease based on ownership, transfers, popularity, or player performance. This means:
A player's price at the start of Round 1 will be the same in Round 4.
No price rises or price drops will occur during the tournament.
Managers only need to focus on scoring points and managing transfers, rather than protecting team value.
All player prices are available in the Player List section of the Fantasy Hub.
Leagues
Leagues allow managers to compete directly against friends, family, colleagues, and other members of the Marvel Rivals Fantasy community.
Managers can create their own private league at any time and invite others to join. When creating a league, a unique League Code will be generated. Other managers can join the league by entering the League Code within the Fantasy Hub.
Managers may participate in multiple leagues simultaneously.
League standings are determined by total fantasy points scored throughout the tournament.
Private Leagues
Private leagues are designed for groups of friends and invited participants. Features include:
Create your own league
Generate a unique League Code
Invite friends to join
Track standings throughout the tournament
Compete for bragging rights and league prizes (where applicable)
